We do not know anything about Shelby’s previous life, but she obviously was never told no and no one taught her any manners. Shelby has a bad habit of mouthing and nipping during play. This behaviour can be corrected. Shelby needs an adopter that is committed to teaching her the correct way to play and behave. She needs a firm and consistent adopter so she can learn and understand the rules. She needs a lot of positive reinforcement and praise when behaving as expected. This will be a lifetime commitment of training so she does not slip back to her bad behaviour.

 Shelby in return will give you a lifetime of love and entertainment. This is a loving and loyal girl who has so much to offer.

 Shelby loves people and gets along with other dogs. Cats are an unknown.

 Shelby will need to go to a home with children over the age of ten. Older children will be able to understand and help reinforce the proper behaviours that Shelby needs to learn. Shelby has a lot of energy and will likely knock over younger children.

Shelby has been spayed, is current on vaccinations and on monthly preventives and microchipped.
