Meet Pecan, a fun loving puppy! He has an outgoing personality that fits in with everyone. Pecan is looking for an active, forever home to grow up in.

Pecan gets along with the other small dogs in his foster home. He enjoys playing with his siblings and will initiate play. He loves going outside to play and explore. His foster family has a large fenced in yard and he bolts around the yard with pure joy. You cannot help but smile when you see how much he loves to have fun. Pecan also loves toys. He will pick up toys and carry them around the house as he does zoomies with them.

Pecan is the perfect social chairman in his home. He loves people and is friendly with everyone. Your friends will love to come over because Pecan will go right up to them and greet them. He is a huge cuddler so if you love snuggling, he wants to volunteer for the job. Pecan will follow his family around the house – he wants to be included in everything. Note that he sticks so close that sometimes he can be a tripping hazard. There are children in Pecan’s foster home and he adores them. He would make a great family dog.

Mom Susie was found as a stray in the Bishan area and was very pregnant. We were asked if we could bring Susie and her soon-to-be family into rescue, and we were happy to do so. Susie gave birth on November 10,2019 to three adorable baby boys. Pecan is one of these boys.

Pecan is about 3 months old (was born November 10, 2019). He is about 2kg, and may grow another few kilos. His Mom is 4kg.  He has a beautiful brown coat with a white chest. We love his brown button nose! Pecan loves to have fun, which includes some barking! For that reason, he may not be a good fit for an apartment setting. Being a puppy, Pecan needs another small dog to grow up with. He also needs a family who can check on him every 4-6 hours (would not be a good fit for a family that works 10-12 hour days). He would be great in a home where there was a great deal of activity and people were home a lot

Pecan is super smart. He is a puppy and learning every day. He is almost completely potty trained and has had very few accidents. At night he sleeps in an doggie bed inside of an ex-pen. Pecan is very open to learning and wants to make his family happy.
