When I arrived at my pick up location, my foster mom picked me up and gave me a lot of kisses and treats. I was happy to be in a quiet car and she massaged my head for the 2-hour drive to Shiba HQ. I arrived late at night and met a lot of other dogs. My foster mom tried to put me in an xpen for the evening but I wasn’t having that and jumped out to be with the other dogs. I cried a lot during the night but finally fell asleep on the couch. In the morning I was so happy to see my foster mom and I pranced about. She gave me a bath because my fur was very greasy. I howled to show my displeasure but I was very still for my nail trim! After that, I got to go back with the other dogs in Shiba HQ and explore the yard. SGPA said it is going to take months to undo what a broken veterinary system has done to my immune system but they are confident they can help me get better despite living on various drugs for the past three years.
