Cookie is a loving girl who wants someone she can snuggle with and show her affection. Cookie loves to snuggle with her humans. She is adorable in all aspects and wants to be your best friend! Cookie enjoys meeting new people and will welcome your friends into her life. She loves to cuddle. This little girl is a velcro dog with her humans. She loves to follow you around the house to see what you are working on. Whatever it is, she wants to be a part of it. And she definitely wants to be on your lap while you watch TV in the evenings.

Cookie would be happiest being an only dog so she could bask in all the love in your home. She gets along with the other small dogs in her foster home. But she is not that interested in interacting with them or playing with them. She is much more in tune with her humans! Cookie does enjoy playing with toys. We love seeing how happy she is when she is relaxed and playing. On warm days, Cookie loves to explore her large backyard and lay in the sun.

Cookie found herself in a local shelter as an owner surrender because they were unable to fix their fence to keep her safe and protected. CRT spotted this sweetheart and immediately knew she would be perfect for our program. And she has not disappointed us. She has fit right in. Some family is going to hit the jackpot with this girl.

Cookie weighs 3kg and is fully grown. Cookie is about 6 years old and has a lifetime of love to share. Cookie has a stunning chocolate brown and tan patterned coat. It is very unique and is beautiful. Her ears stand to attention when you call her name. And she has deep brown eyes that will pull you in. Cookie is not a big barker. She will react to sounds if she hears them, but settles down quickly. Due to her reaction to sounds, we feel she would be best in a home environment (versus an apartment). There are no children in her foster home, but we think she would do fine with older, mature children, 12 and older. Cookie adores people so much. She would be great for a retired family or a work at home family as she could actively share love with you all day long!

Cookie is doing well on her potty training. She will go outside if someone is home to take her out routinely. She is also learning to use pee pads when her foster mom goes to work. She sleeps in a crate at night but really would like to snuggle in the bed with the pack.
