He is friendly and does well with other dogs and new people but has bonded
the most with me since I’m home with him during the day. He’s showing the
stereotypical yorkie behavior of claiming “his person” and has gotten
protective of me. We corrected that and haven’t had any issues since.
We are also working on potty manners (he likes to mark his territory) and
belly bands are helping a lot.
Overall I think he would be a great companion for someone who understands
yorkie behavior and will be patient with him on his leg lifting. He would do
best in a quiet home as the only dog or with another dog who is more laid
back. He just needs plenty of walks and squeaky toys 🙂
I’ve had a lot of inquires about Archey but most people want a dog now and
aren’t willing to wait unfortunately.

He is 7 years old and weighs 6kg.
Archey has adjusted well to his foster home over the last 3 weeks. We were able to squeeze in a grooming appointment before things shut down and the groomer said he did great with them. He is coming out of his shell now thathe’s a bit more comfortable and it’s been fun to see his personality! He LOVES walks. You can’t even say the word “walk” around him unless you are ready to go right that second! He walks nice on a leash with minor pulling. He naps most of the day but is now starting to playing with his foster siblings more. He loves to carry toys around and always grabs a toy for the road before we go outside in the yard.
